Abstract

The text addresses diverse post-October 2019 participatory experiences from different perspectives. The objective of the text is to impulse a new agenda on the subject, focused not on public policies, but on participatory experiences. This framework is completely attractive and necessary: different post-explosion reflections show the importance of leaving behind the studies of institutionalized participation, and move forward to an analysis that describes, makes visible and discuses the bottom-up participation emerging from social actors. The ideas proposed by the authors provide insight in terms of future analysis possibilities, which must be enriched with the contemporary challenges in this issue. In this context, the main invitation is to take seriously the need to analyze participation.
