Abstract

This work reports on the results of a study of acoustic readings of F1 and F2 in Spanish vowels as rendered by six speakers of Spanish as a second language, compared with the same sounds produced by a Spanish native speaker from Concepción, Chile, and also with synthesized Spanish vowels described by Delattre (1962).
