En torno a la reforma ortográfica

Abstract

This article resulted from the author’s participation as moderator in the roundtable “García Márquez, Bello and Spanish Orthography”, organized by Corporación Cultural Rector Juvenal Hernández in 1998. On this opportunity an homage was payed to Bello and, at the same time,served as an occasion to debate García Márquez’ opinions on orthography. The discussion of the problem posed by orthographic reform raised opinions in favor and against it.
