This paper synthesises the theoretical foundations of a semantic-cognitive approach to Dicourse Analysis and presents a non-linear computer technique analysis, applied to a political speech pronounced by Eduardo Frei Ruiz­Tagle, candidate to the Presidency of Chile during the 1993 electoral campaign
