Abstract

(This paper informs the national and international scientific community about a FONDECYT 2003 research project conducted by a team of researchers of Catholic University of Chile. It presents the project, offers a discussion of the theoretical framework in which the work hypothesis is inserted, outlines the objectives that it tries to reach and the methodology that will be used to attain them. The project will last three years after which a phonophonological profile of Chile’s public speech will be determined.)
